Qui James, an accomplished double HBCU graduate, obtained a Business Administration degree from Howard University and a Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia’s David A. Clarke School of Law. Her deep grasp of business principles seamlessly informs her corporate law expertise. Notably, at the David A. Clarke School of Law, she championed tenants’ rights, prevented evictions, and safeguarded affordable housing in the District of Columbia through her role in the Housing and Consumer Clinic. In the Community Development Law Clinic, she furthered her community advocacy by representing non-profits and emerging entrepreneurs.

Her legal journey encompasses diverse areas including intellectual property, data privacy, personal injury, and criminal law, with formative experience at Morgan & Morgan. However, it was her pivotal contribution in the NFL’s legal department during the challenging COVID-19 period that shaped her career trajectory. This led her to become a certified sports agent for both the NFL and NBA. In 2021, Qui James co-founded ONE Sports with NFL Hall of Famer, Edgerrin James, dedicated to empowering athletes throughout their professional journeys.
